Winner of the prestigious Australian Mo Award, Syd has earned himself an outstanding reputation as a versatile performer of the highest order. Not only is he one of the finest comedy jugglers anywhere in the world, but with his warm persona and natural comedic skills, the overall package is unbeatable.
The son of a well-known Australian comedian, Syd started honing his comedy skills early. He cut his teeth writing gags for Graham Kennedy on Channel 9’s Coast to Coast, as well as for Starsearch on Channel 10, all the while developing his own comedy at live venues around the country, and performing regularly on The Midday Show.
On stage, Syd has worked with show-business legends such as Englebert Humperdinck, Norman Wisdom, The Village People, and The Supremes to name but a few, and amongst others he has entertained guests for cruise lines such as Crystal, Silver Seas, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, Radisson, and NCL.
Syd toured the UK with well known act The Krankies, was part of the team for Foxtel’s comedy series ‘Cliptomaniacs’, and has performed on Australian television in such varied shows as Ridgey Didge, Sweet and Sour, and Good Morning Australia. Using some mind blowing juggling as a vehicle for his comedy, Syd has everyone laughing whilst simultaneously astounding them with his impressive skills. With standup comedy material interwoven with audience interaction, Syd has been delighting audiences the world over.
