Liz Layton

Liz Layton is a dynamic performer who can always be relied on to entertain an audience. Her warmth and sense of fun is contagious and the empathy she has with the people who come to see her is amazing.

She worked as Rodney Dangerfield’s opening act in his club in New York city and while working upstate New York in the resorts in the catskill mountains was nominated by the ‘academy of variety artists’ as best female performer.

Liz has been nominated for five prestigious ‘mo awards’ in the female comedy category and she was twice nominated for an ‘ace award.’

She is a great all round performer who blends comedy with a powerful vocal delivery.  She has extensive experience in television and theatre  and acted in a leading role with lucky grills in the T.V pilot ‘people like us’ for Channel 7 in Sydney.   Her one woman show ‘Sooner or Layton’  was featured at the Tilbury Hotel with great success.   She has also appeared in many T.V. commercials.

Performing in all top venues in South East Asia, Liz also worked American military bases in Japan, Philippines, America and Central America.   She worked for both American and Australian troops in Vietnam.
